Mums fall outs

One in three mums has fallen out with someone amid a bust-up over how to raise their child – with their own mums or mother-in-law often the culprit, it has emerged.  A study of 2,000 mothers found comments or remarks made by close relatives, other mothers and even complete strangers are also common triggers. Potty training is the most frequent cause of discontent with behaviour, growth and their child’s eating and sleeping habits other touchy subjects

M&S Helps charity to put childhood leukaemia to bed

This June, Marks & Spencer will be selling an exclusive Tatty Teddy key ring (£3.50 each) with all proceeds going to charity Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to help put childhood leukaemia to bed. For the second year running, M&S will also generously donate 10% of sales of kid’s nightwear to the charity from 31 May-19 June.

Dangerous Game

According to a recent survey seven out of ten single women regularly practice unprotected sex.  A study which involved over 2,000 women between the ages of 18 and 40 found a large percentage adopt a ‘head in the sand’ approach to the transmission of STDs. This survey found the average single woman has had unprotected sex 11 times with a total of four different men.
